I've used several different headsets in the $150-350 range and these are easily the best headphones for console gaming. The battery always lasts longer than a 6-7 hour gaming session - probably closer to 13-15hrs - and the other one is always charged and ready when it does die. Mic quality is a huge improvement from the stealth 700 gen 2's. ANC is a game changer because it means you don't have to have the volume on 100% to hear footsteps like most other headsets. The accuracy of the directional audio is exceptional. The earpads are thick enough that your ears don't make contact with the drivers, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but anyone who games for 6-7 hours at a time knows how uncomfortable that can be. The padded headband and the clamping force of the headphones also work together to make these the most comfortable and secure feeling headphones I've used. The new turtle beach app is also great because it lets you create a custom EQ for the game audio, a separate custom EQ for bluetooth audio, and you can adjust the EQ of your own voice - all these EQ's save to the headphones and are active every time you power on the headphones. They also come with a small cloth storage bag, idk what it's made out of but it feels like Alcantara. If all that doesn't convince you then you're an idiot.
