I've had the processor for roughly three months and there's nothing to complain about. The clock boost is higher than the manufacturer's specifications (4700mhz) even in stock, and with the 8/16 setup it's excellent for multitasking and rendering processes. Worth mentioning is the temperature which barely gets up to 65ºC even on very hot days, despite the lack of air conditioning where the desktop is located. Simply fantastic.

Pros

  • temperature
  • clock boost
  • multitasking

Cons

  • price
  • no box cooler included

The 5700x is great in price/performance because it has 8 cores with hyperthreading which is great for productivity and rendering stuff and it is also blazing fast making it really good for gaming. Also where I live it is even cheaper than the ryzen 5 5600x
