I have been using Pocketbook Touch HD for a few years now and started to feel it was a bit outdated and slow, so I bought a Kobo Clara 2E. I was not impressed. It is designed for a) buying books, particularly Kobo books; b) if my library does not offer Overdrive that works with Kobo, which few do, one must borrow via a computer and then transfer to the e-reader; c) Kobo works both with WiFi and via the computer, I was mainly interested in a tablet that is used via WiFi, like my Pocketbook, but with Kobo, it seems like one often has to sit with a computer or iPad beside oneself; d) with Pocketbook there is a general search box where you can write the name of a book and get different suggestions where to buy the book or download it for free. Nothing like that with Kobo. For example, I searched: Penny, Kingdom of the Blind. On Kobo: No results found. On Pocketbook: reference to Amazon, Bokus, Goodreads, etc.
