The LG V20 is a true premium, high quality phone.

The LG V20 is a light smart phone clad in an aluminium body with a wide screen, long enough, yet thin which combine to give it a high quality look and feel of a true high quality smartphone, ie. it does not feel like a brick with phone abilities. The removable battery 👍🏾 is a hard feature to find in smartphones. It uses true android and therefore, no app from the google play store fails to run on it. No glitches in software or random shutdowns or over heating. It is just flawless execution. The finger print sensor is conviniently placed on the comfortable finger fitting round power button. My advice is to get a jacket and screen guard for it, because its aluminium back covering can slightly widen with forced openings due to frequent falls and thus turning it into a lose fitting. The screen has a large surface area and therefore can easily be smashed when dropped. The battery is average.

Pros

  • Nice body material (aluminium)
  • Very light and thin
  • Wide screen, good height
  • Excellent performance
  • The finger print sensor can lock or unlock the phone
  • Removable battery

Cons

  • The phone screen is not tough enough
  • The battery capacity is just average although it can be easily changed

The phone is bad, it hardly runs any games properly, besides damaging the battery frequently. I spent 3 years with it and had to change the battery 6 times, it would take 24 hours to charge. Even my father bought a new one and it would literally take 2 days to charge it and then he had to sell it. The screen is 4k which is appreciated but its performance is terrible. Fortnite will get to a maximum of 10 and 3 fps, even dropping to zero fps, do not buy it no matter how cheap you find it, it would be a total waste of your money.

Pros

  • secondary screen
  • removable battery
  • good and nice camera

Cons

  • it discharges in one hour and 40 minutes when new and does not last an hour when heavily used
  • significant battery wear
  • poor performance in games
  • dots not update to android 9 pie, it is stuck
  • the phone is very robust and a bit ugly, yet slightly elegant
