I have lived in Orlando, Florida since I was a child and I am close to 50 now. I can absolutely say there is no comparison when it comes to safety. Singapore is probably one of the safest places on earth! Orlando should not be listed better than Singapore and that is a fact. Anyone who has ever been to Singapore will tell you how safe Singapore is. I never felt so safe and relaxed in my life. When it comes to public transport in Singapore . Singapore has multi level underground trains and above ground trains along with busses etc. All public transportation is extremely clean, safe, and fast. They are air conditioned have good cell service. The busses run near everywhere there are many busses and they move fast. They have charging ports and double decker seating on many busses. The busses are super clean and hi tech with many useful features for bus riders. While Singapore may charge 128.00 for unlimited rides for residents its cheap when you no longer have to pay a car payment, car insurance, car repairs, gas and have to worry about accidents. Public transport can be crowded at times but it mostly feels like a luxury service. You can get anywhere quickly. There are many places to eat , drink and shop as you travel underground either on trains or walk through the underground tunnels which are really cool. Orlando busses are slow, dirty with many people who are bottom feeders. Orlando busses only run in certain areas and it came take a long time to travel any real distance for example from Altamonte springs to Orlando was a long ride. Walkability in Singapore is safer . They have stone walkovers over the roads in many places covered in flowers and plants. They have seating everywhere. Most people walk everywhere in Singapore and there are so many paths , tunnels, etc and the best part is the majority of walking paths in Singapore have covered walkways. The bus stops have covering , lighting and security cameras in most places. Now some of the covering provides shade and some cover from the rain while others have much better protection. When it comes to food and drink Singapore has beautiful clean restaurants that serve very good food. They have lots of restaurants for rich people. They also have hawker centers which are open air centers that resemble mall food courts in the usa but much smaller in size and many more them for much less money. Hawker centers are everywhere, the largest in Chinatown has over 300 stalls! The food is good and cheap.
