Samsung Galaxy S10 has been my main phone for 3 years. It has not disappoint me at all. It still has one of the best display ever, a really good speaker, excellent build quality, still good camera and a good performance even when compared to the mid range in 2022. However, the battery life on this phone is so bad I need to carry an battery bank to sustain it.

The phone itself is very good, it's super fast, comfortable in hand, and has VERY good features. The only downfall is the battery; It should have more capacity.

Pros

  • Incomparable sound
  • Beautiful design
  • Comfortable to carry (size)
  • On-screen fingerprint sensor (doesn't break)
  • Dual sim
  • Enough storage
  • Android 11

Cons

  • Poor battery life
  • Lacks IR sensor for face unlock
  • Missing iris recognition (the S9 had it...)

The performance is extremely good, thanks to its processor and its 8GB of ram, sure it has a 60Hz screen, but it is extremely responsive. The photo quality is very decent, for sure, compared to an S21 it's not as good, but it remains an excellent photophone. ONE THING TO NOTE: The battery life of the S10 (not the S10+) is really quite average, you should plan for an external battery if you don't have a charging point throughout the day. For instance, if you watch videos on YouTube in 1080p for about 4h15/30, you will drop from 100 to 15%. If you will use it to make calls, send SMS, go on social networks, all the basic tasks that a phone can do, you will last without any problem for a day. If you are considering upgrading your S10 to a more recent model, be aware that it will still last you another 2 years without any issues due to its power, and its camera which is still very decent.

Pros

  • Power
  • Design
  • Camera which is very decent

Cons

  • Battery life (learn to plan according to your need)
